Use Bailar in your AI assistant
Connect ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or Muse to Bailar, then ask for Latin dance socials, classes and studios anywhere in the world.
What the Bailar connector does
The connector lets your AI assistant search Bailar's public listings of Latin dance socials, classes, workshops, festivals and studios around the world, including who teaches each class. It then gives you the Bailar page where you can book a class or get tickets.
- Read-only. It searches public listings and never books, pays, posts or changes anything.
- No account needed. You don't sign in to Bailar to use it.
- No login or contact details. It never asks for your name, email or phone number, and it never returns anyone's contact details. Bailar does receive the search and the request's IP address, as explained under Privacy below.
- Booking and payment happen on the Bailar website or app, not inside the assistant.
Server address
Every assistant uses the same address. No sign-in or API key is needed.
https://bailar.site/api/mcpHow to add it
Claude
- In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and select Add custom connector.
- Name it Bailar and paste the server address.
- Choose No sign-in and add it.
Add it once on claude.ai and it also works in the Claude desktop and mobile apps. The Free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds it under Organization settings, Connectors, Add, Custom, Web; members then turn it on from Customize, Connectors.
Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http bailar https://bailar.site/api/mcpChatGPT
- On chatgpt.com, open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode.
- Go to chatgpt.com/plugins and select +.
- Paste the server address, set Authentication to No Authentication and save. Bailar appears under Drafts.
- In a chat, select +, then Developer mode, and pick Bailar.
Works on the ChatGPT website with Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education plans.
Gemini
- On gemini.google.com, open Settings at the bottom of the menu, then Connected Apps.
- Under Custom apps, select Add a custom app.
- Paste the server address, select Next and follow the prompts.
- In a chat, type @Bailar to use it.
Add it on the Gemini website; it then works in the Gemini mobile app too. Google currently offers custom apps to people 18 and older in the US with a personal Google account, Keep Activity turned on and Gemini set to English. The feature is still rolling out, so some accounts show it under Personal Intelligence or don't have it yet.
Grok
- Go to grok.com/connectors and select New Connector.
- Choose Custom and paste the server address.
- Save it. Bailar needs no sign-in, so there is nothing else to set up.
On Grok Business and Enterprise, an admin first adds it at console.x.ai under Grok Business, Connectors, Add Connector, Other.
Muse (Meta AI)
Muse doesn't have a setting for pasting a server address. Instead, ask Muse to build the connection by sending it this message:
Build a custom integration to the Bailar MCP server at https://bailar.site/api/mcp, test every tool, save it as a skill.Muse builds and saves the integration itself, so the steps it shows you may vary.
Things to ask
Once Bailar is connected, try:
- Find a salsa social in Madrid this Saturday.
- What beginner bachata classes are there in Miami this week?
- Show me dance studios near Times Square in New York that teach salsa.
- Which Latin dance festivals are coming up in Berlin next month?
- Tell me more about the first event: the dress code and how to get tickets.
Privacy
When your assistant uses the connector, Bailar receives the search it sends (for example a city, a dance style or dates) and the IP address the request comes from, which we use only for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We don't link these searches to a Bailar account. Your conversation itself is handled by your assistant's provider under its own privacy policy.
